The whole process of admission will be fair, rational, and transparent. Admission will be based on the information given and documents submitted in support of the same.
To enroll your child in Nursery Classes and LKG for the session 2024-25, we have initiated the Online Registration process. The online registration is open from 2nd February to 24th February 2024. Visit our official website (kcps.edu.in) in for registration. Fill in all the required information correctly, and make sure it matches with details as per the Birth Certificate of the child. Provide valid and current contact information, including your phone number and email address. This information will be crucial for communication throughout the admission process.
I.ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NURSERY: Children whose date of birth falls between 01-04-2020 and 31-03-2021 (both days inclusive) only are eligible for registration for the academic session 2024-25. The age of child should be between 3 Yrs to 4 Yrs as on 31-03-2024. After the completion of Nursery in the session 2024-25 the child will be automatically promoted to LKG during academic year 2025-26.
II. ELEGILIBILITY CRITERIA FOR LKG : Children whose date of birth falls between 01.04.2019 and 31.03.2020 (both days inclusive) eligible for registration for the academic session 2024-25. The age of the child should be between 4 Yrs to 5 Yrs as on 01-04-2024.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Selection will be made through a lucky draw event for Nursery and LKG separately in presence of Parent, teacher and Principal.
Post lucky draw event original document verification followed by parent, teacher, child interaction to go ahead with the admission process . Any document discrepancy found at this stage will lead to forfeiture of admission.
A non-refundable Fee of Rs.200/- will be charged at the time of Registration. If anyone submits two or more applications for the same child only one application will be considered for the lucky draw. Application found non- fulfilling the admission criteria will not be considered for draw of lots.
REGISTRATION OF SPECIAL CATEGORY CANDIDATES AT GOVT. PORTALS: Admission to reserved seats in private school under RCFCE Act. 25% of seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to weaker sections and disadvantage group in the society available in neighborhood as per RCFCE Act., (Within 1 km of the school). In order to apply for admission to LKG in special category parents and / or guardian of eligible children will visit the Govt. Portal www.rteparadarshi.odisha.gov.in to avail the same.
